"Buy Local", "Sustainable", and "Green" are all becoming household words and Future Farm Food and Fuel LLC is leading the way by creating products for our consumers that are defined by these words. Future Farm Food and Fuel is a sister company of Baldwin Dairy which has been in the family for over 100 years. Over the years farming has changed in many ways and now with the evolution of anaerobic digesters and manure processing systems there is a whole new world of opportunity for today’s farmer. Our state of the art greenhouse (coming in Nov. of 09)will run off the energy produced from our 1100 cow farm. This facility is a 27,000 square foot aquaponics system that is producing all natural vegetables and Tilapia fish without the use of any harmful chemicals or pesticides. This is just the start to our revolution and it is our intent to make milk the secondary revenue source of our farm. We are exited to be a part of this “green” movement and also have a biofuels division where we are growing algae with the intent of creating all of the fuel for our farm. So now you see why we say we are not only Green, we are “green and growing”
