Read MoreWe are back under construction after a year of maneuvering through the new financial world. It took a while, but with a lot of persistence we were able to get financed through the SBA 7a program. As part of the stimulus package, all fees have been waived which was a great help in getting this project off the ground.
Construction crews are back on site and things are moving quickly. We expect to have the facility ready for operation by the end of this year. The aquaponic systems will be installed first, followed by the hydroponic grow beds, and finally the energy systems connecting us to Baldwin Dairy's methane digester.
It has been a challenging road, but we have never lost faith in the vision. A Future Farm will be producing clean, sustainable food for our community soon. Thank you for your patience and continued support!
